Research Data Centre (FDZ) at the IQB
The Research Data Centre (Forschungsdatenzentrum, FDZ) at the Institute for Educational Quality Improvement (Institut zur Qualitätsentwicklung im Bildungswesen, IQB) archives and documents data sets resulting from national and international assessment studies (such as DESI, PIRLS, PISA). Moreover, the FDZ makes these data sets available for re- and secondary analysis. Members of the scientific community can apply for access to the data sets archived at the FDZ.

Work at the Research Data Centre at IQB is carried out in line with the criteria for research data centres established by the German Council for Social and Economic Data (RatSWD). The project is part of the Centre for International Student Assessment (ZIB) funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and The Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany.
