Data-informed Quality Improvement

Within the research field ‘Data-informed Quality Improvement’, the IQB examines how the use of IQB instruments can be supported to advance teaching and targeted student support. In the context of the Nationwide Achievement Tests (VERA), this is examined in a subproject of the research network “Scientific support and research for the Startchancen programme”, and as part of the initiative of the federal government and the federal states “Education Through Language and Writing” (“Bildung durch Sprache und Schrift, BiSS”). The IQB also examines this question in relation to the IQB tests for assessing basic competences essential to meeting the minimum standards – both within the collaborative project “StarS – Starting Strong in Primary School” and in the project “Technology-Based Assessment II” (TBA II).
